Degodia have turned Mandera North into a killing field

 Reports from Rhamo indicate that more than nine people, most of them Garre, were killed near Banissa and Rhamo areas follows the dispute in Moyale, where the Oromo attacked the town of Moyale, Ethiopia.  As reported by Garre online the Degodia have been planning attacks in Mandera County to disrupt the election by killing.  According Mr. AbdulKadir Mohamed, the MP for Mandera central was interviewed by BBC news. He stated categorically that he has supported peace between Degodia and Garre. But that was simple tongue in cheek for he recently participated in a Degodia meeting by Mr. Burhaan during his campaign to collect funds.  According to intelligence they collected a staggering  $50 million dollars.  According to our reports collected from Oromo prisoners interviewed by the Ethiopian Military the culprits who invaded Moyale were paid wholesomely by Mr. Burhaan who was recently in Negele, Ethiopia.

The Degodia have planned a deliberate removal of the Garre population from Northern Mandera by force or intimidation, in order to render that area homogenously Degodia. based on the many reports Garre online news has been describing the policy and practices conducted by Degodia. Yesterday the planned ethnic cleansing was carried out by means of murder, rape, sexual assaults, animal raiding and the forced displacement of the Garre civilian population. 

 Garre news online has on many occasions reported the complex Degodia provocation, and the deliberate militia attacks and threats of attacks on Garre population of Mandera North areas along with wanton destruction of property to the Government of Kenya to no avail..  .

 Due to these many provocations Garre people have earned the right to defend themselves. the Garre are peace loving people who aim to live in peace but when the population has been pushed to unbelievable limits, the Garre will fight to save their children.

Garre have absolutely no representatives in Kenya Government. Mr. Mohammud who represents Mandera West has been outnumbered by anti-peace elements that represent Wajir and Mandera counties and become voiceless when it comes to curtailing culprits.  We therefore appeal to the Government of Kenya to take stern actions against Degodia  for making Northern Mandera unlivable.  We insist on the arrest of Mr. Burhaan who is a pathological warlord who has hands soaked with our blood.
