It is a sad day for the Gharri of Mandera County. This morning Wednesday July 1, 2015 local time, one Gharri young female was gunned down at Yabicho, Rhamo district by a Degodia wing of Alshababa.
According to information received from Rhamo, the Degodia terrorist was spotted by the victim and her companion early morning and when they began to run away, the terrorist shot and killed the young woman who is described as the daughter of Bashir Abdi Alio a resident of Yabisho, Rhamo District, Mandera County.
While all these things are happening the so called “KDF” are doing nothing to protect the civilians. Instead they are guarding the Al Shababa hideout and their food supply stores in Rhamo Diimtu.

Moyale, Western Gharri region, Southern Ethiopia: The death toll from June 15, 2015 has reached 6 with 7 injured. Three victims with the most serious injuries have been taken to Awasa hospital. Also, unconfirmed reports indicate that the Gharri militias who followed the perpetrators footprints have caught up with those enemy combatants near Malka Mari. Heavy fighting ensued and in the process 6 enemy fighters were killed and many more were injured. So, our brave militias have triumphed and our innocent children and their parent’s life was not in vain.

On June 15, 2015 Degodia gunmen raided a Gharri village at Qalqalch Bilile located in Mubarak District overnight, killing a family of 4 and wounding several people. The victims’ family members were identified as Mr. Abdi Chief Edaw, his wife and two of their children. Also, the Degodia gunmen killed 26 camels and ransacked the village before they escaped. It was said that the perpetrators went to the Kenya side of the Ethiopia-Kenya border.
