News Update From El Wak District June 26, 2007

Unlike previous Baraza, over four thousand Gharri citizens in El Wak have showed up to hear the newly appointed El Wak District Commissioner Mr. Ole Pialal’s Speech on June 25, 2007. Mr. Pialal reaffirmed that it is not a rumor that EL Wak and Takaba are both Full-fledged Districts. There will be no more travel to Mandera town to see D. C. There will be no need to travel to Mandera to see  the  District Commissioner or District Officer 1 ( D.O 1) and there will be no need for youth to make a trip to Mander in order to apply for jobs or to get important papers. Everything that you use to get in Mandera, now effective today, will be provided right here in your own back yard.  Also, D.C promised to work relentlessly curtailing rumors and fallacious propaganda in order to stir up rumors and anti peace elements from flourishing here in El Wak District.

According to our reporter, there were a few self centered, immoral, enemy loving, Gharri hating /Self hating, money-grubbing fear-mongering bigots who did not show up to hear his excellency Mr. Ole Pialal’s speech, because they  can not show one single thing or project completed during  their failed twenty years of public service, and now were so haunted by Honorable Bellow Kerow, and Mohamed Abdow’s accomplishment. So, they were so heart broken and disturbed for the simple fact that they did not succeed in their maneuvers and venture with Degody, in their last efforts blocking the Gharri from  achieving and witnessing Full-fledged El Wak and Takaba Districts.  I say let fears eat their soul.

Thousands of Gharri people have celebrated all over from Takaba, through El Wak, Rhamo, and Mandera, as well as in Somalia and North America. They praised President Moi Kibaki and his government and promise to support him in what ever capacity they can, and pledge to support him in the upcoming general election.
