The Somali State Administrators have approved creation of three vice presidents also known as deputy administrators. They include Dr. Sultan Woli, Mohammed Dekhe, and Aden Farah. It is believed that the appointment of these three deputy chief administrators will enhance and reinforce the ongoing region’s development efforts to enrich the lives of the pastoral communities.

Also, two new districts have been added to the Liban Zone. According information received one of the newly created district will be carved from Filtu district and the second one is from the Moyale District. Originally, the Chilako was intended to be the name of the new district but, its name was changed at the last minutes to Mubarak.

The creations of these two districts have been credited to the Somali Regional State Speaker of the house Mr. Mohamed Rashid Isaack. Because, he took it upon himself by working underground secretly and also, without spending any public funds to bribe someone or to compensate himself and he succeeded.
